Microphone Mounting System! Absolutely ingenious in design and function, the Kelly SHU is a great way to eliminate unwanted noise from other members of your band kicking the kick drum mic stand. The idea is simple, the Kelly SHU is suspended inside your kick drum using multiple, solid rubber bands to position the microphone in just the right place within the
drum shell. It can be positioned in any way you like. The Kelly SHU Composite series also gives you your choice of our exclusive internal and external installation options, both within the same product. Complete instructions for both options are included with each Kelly SHU shockmount. Unfortunately, the days of watching your guitarist trip over your kick mic stand and you getting a little laugh out of it are over but this is a much better way of miking your kick so the trade-off is ok.
