Clean Power for Live Sound Plus Freebies

You really can’t go wrong having adequate power at your disposal for live sound applications. Not only that but some guitarists and bassists power more cabinets with standard power amplifiers. My question to you is this, why would you ultimately sacrifice tone, power and durability for price? The reason I ask is because during my time as a telephone tech with American Musical Supply, I would get tons of calls from customers asking what the best, cheap power plx3602amplifier is. My answer was always a question back to them. Do you want to have the amplifier for many years to come? Smooth Optical Compression for your Guitars

It’s true; one of the most difficult things to find is a high quality yet great sounding compressor for your guitars and basses. Most compressor pedals do not sound the way you want them to. That is about to end with help from the Joe floorqMeek FloorQ Optical Compressor Pedal. Most comp pedals don’t utilize the optical compression medium which in some cases is good but for smooth, transparent compression, the optical compression is key. The floorQ also boasts a high impedance JFET input, Class-A preamplifier with an Input Level control, so even with the Compressor switched out, the pedal makes an excellent front end and level matcher for all types of guitar amps. I really can’t stress it enough that smooth compression has always been previously unattainable until the release of the FloorQ so I have to say, Thanks Joe Meek!

Duplicate Your Project Like a Pro…

…with a little help from our friends at EZ Dupe. They are always coming up with solutions for all of us working stiffs in autoloaderthe music business and most of them are worth their weight in gold. With that in mind I would like to talk about the EZ Dupe AL103PIB Autoloader DVD/CD Duplicator and its incredible feature set and overall functionality. First off I want to point out that this is a completely standalone unit meaning it will operate without the need for any computer connections. To me, that is one of the best features. I really can’t spare any processing power since my machines are ancient. The next remarkable ezd-alpib100feature is its Dual drive which will make 2 copies at a time to effectively reduce duplication time. Did I mention that this thing autoloads the discs and even sets aside discs found to be defective in a small drawer on the unit? Well, it does and it does so this thing is wicked. One more thing I should definitely mention is that the AL103PIB has a “clean room” environment inside the case designed to protect each project from dust and any other contaminants. EZ is right!
